Automatic Ultrasonic Coating System

Automatic ultrasonic coating system is equipped with a conveyor for substrate transfer and usually employs Widemist ultrasonic spray nozzles which can form a nozzles bridge to cover very large spray area. It is mainly suitable for the production of large area thin film coatings or high volume production applications. Automatic ultrasonic coating system is also equipped with various precision continuous metering pump system that can provide constant liquid delivery in 24/7. It is mainly used for the production of large area thin film coatings or large volume production. Ultrasonic coating is a thin film coating technique based on ultrasonic atomizing nozzle technology, ultrasonic spray coating can provide higher homogenous and thinner coatings and higher precision than the conventional air spray coating. Furthermore, since ultrasonic nozzles atomize the liquid by ultrasonic oscillation rather than air pressure, ultrasonic coating significantly reduces the splashing of raw material paint splashes. The transfer efficiency of raw material in ultrasonic coating is as high as 4 times of air spray coating.


Automatic ultrasonic coating system can be used for production of large area thin film coatings or large volume production. The typical applications include new energy industry such as catalyst coated membrane (CCM) for fuel cell, functional layers for thin-film solar cell, biomedical industry such as functional layers for biosensors, microelectronics and semiconductor industry such as photoresist coatings for silicon wafers, fluxing for PCBs, glass industry such as anti-reflection (AR) coatings, hydrophilic coatings, hydrophobic coatings, thermal insulation coatings, transparent conductive coatings, non-woven fabrics and textiles industry such as super-hydrophobic coatings, anti-microbial coatings etc..
