Piezo for High Intesity Focused Ultrasound Transducers
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound transducer, abbreviated as HIFU transducer or HIFU Piezo, is often referred to as "Hai Fu" in Chinese by literal translation. The basic principle is to form a focused sound field through a concave array composed by single concave piezoelectric ceramic plate or multi-plates piezoelectric ceramics, thereby reaching high sound intensity at the focus and performing external work, such as disrupting cell tissue and fat, etc, and achieving the effects such as tumor treatment, beauty and weight loss, etc.
With more than 30 years of experience in the design and preparation of piezoelectric ceramics and ultrasonic transducers, Siansonic (JR Piezo) has been providing a variety of focused piezoelectric ceramic plates and HIFU piezo for the fields where the high-intensity focused ultrasound is applied. The minimum diameter of single-plate HIFU transducer is 2 mm, the maximum diameter of the HIFU transducer could reach 100 mm or more, and the frequency can reach up to 10 MHz.
