The FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle is an ultrasonic spray nozzle with a small spray width and low flow rate. The ultrasonic atomizer nozzle is based on ultrasonic atomization technology. The ultrasonic atomizer nozzle has a special air flow channel design to uniformly distribute the carrier gas, so that the liquid mist atomized by ultrasonic power is sprayed in a focused shape, thereby reducing the spray area of the ultrasonic atomizer nozzle. Due to the small spray width of the FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle, it is mainly suitable for various applications on small and medium coating area. It is complementary to Siansonic WideMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle and can be applied to almost all substrates with different sizes.
One of typical applications of FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle is membrane electrode coatings for proton exchange membrane fuel cell. The catalyst (such as a platinum carbon catalyst) suspension is atomized and sprayed onto a proton exchange membrane to form a uniform catalyst coating. Because the FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle has the advantage of focused spray shape, it can be precisely sprayed in a small range. Therefore, the FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle can also be applied to the surface coating for some implantable medical devices such as drug eluted balloon catheter and drug eluted stent. For example, FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle atomize and spray the drug solution which typically consists of rapamycin or paclitaxel dissolved in some organic solvents onto the stent or balloon catheter to form a homogenous drug coating layer. In addition, the FocusMist ultrasonic atomizer nozzle can also be applied to thin film solar cell, perovskite solar cell, PCB fluxing, etc.
