Ultrasonic Dispersion of Nanoparticles for Electrically Functional Coatings
Compared to other coating methods, ultrasonic spray coating system has significant advantages for functional coatings on glass such as TCO (transparent conductive oxide coatings, CNTs (carbon nano tubes) and silver nanowires. Ultrasonic nozzles are very suitable for spraying suspensions with electrically active particles, dispersing solid particles in suspensions evenly to achieve outstanding electrical performance.
Typical functional coatings deposited onto various types of glass, plastics, and metals by Siansonic ultrasonic coating systems
Transparent Conductive Oxide coatings
Photoresist coatings
Electrochromic coatings
CNT or Nanowire coatings
Anti-reflection (TiO2, SiO2) coatings
Hydrophilic and hydrophobic coating
Larger and thinner active layers with greater electrical properties can be achieved due to uniform dispersion of particles. Produce large area coatings with high uniformity at a fraction of the cost of CVD and sputtering processes. Highly controllable spray by ultrasonic nozzles can realize selective area coating processes which is almost impossible by using other coating methods.
