Drug eluting balloon catheter coating system is a specific medical coating device for production of drug layers on drug eluting balloon catheter. By employing Nanomist ultrasonic nozzle or Focusmist ultrasonic nozzle, it is able to precisely make drug depositions typically like rapamycin or other medical coating materials onto the balloon catheter surface to form a homogeneous drug coating without defects such as pinholes, orange peels etc.. Ultrasonic balloon catheter coating is a thin film coating technique based on ultrasonic atomizing nozzle technology, ultrasonic spray coating can provide higher homogenous and thinner coatings and higher precision than the conventional air spray coating. Furthermore, the balloon catheter coating system also employs specific fixtures to hold and unload the whole balloon catheter easily and stably. The total length of balloon catheter can be up to 2 meters.
